First contact was made to the shoulder, wasn't the crown from what I saw.

I hate where football is going.

And not really with the crown. I could see an argument being made for that being the call for the safety of the defensive player in that case, but I didn't see it as the crown being the initial contact despite his body position.

I don't think that's targeting, IMO.

He lowered his head and hit the other player in the head with the crown of his helmet. Feels pretty clear cut to me.

Ransom kept his head up, initiated contact with his shoulder, and the WR if anyone lowered his helmet and speared Ransom’s face make with it. Pretty clear cut distinction to me.
