Dreadful third down from Sparty but saved by the kicker. Guess that's it for any semblance of a close game tonight.

Stanford is actually decent, with too many mistakes. But Miami looks good. Toney hype is starting.

They don't have Beck holding them back any more. The death of contracts and rules saw to that this off-season.

Toney is a monster (and might have come north if chosen over Innis). That said, it's unlucky that his rep game changing cfp fumbles forced by Downs led to 10 points for his own team somehow. Should have been enough to swing the game back, particularly given that it likely becomes more than just a 10 pt swing

Wow that’s just awful.

On the bright side another easier win seems possible with Illinois.

I like our QB Katin Houser but yeah....UAB had 423 yards....we might score 30 but we're probably giving up 50 to any decent team.

New defensive coordinator and changed the system to a 3-3-5 in part because we couldn't afford the D lineman Bielema really wanted, so I expected it to be a weakness this year.

I think I'll be happy with 7-5 this year if that's our defense.
