The game was initially scheduled to be played at Nippert in 2020, and rescheduled for 2025 due to covid. In October 2023, the game was moved to Lucas Oil Stadium. In December 2024, the game was moved again to Arrowhead Stadium.

It’s a real shame for the students/local businesses. It would have been a huge event in Clifton. UC students should demand their fees back. I’m guessing the impact on the local economy would have outweighed the extra revenue UC will realize from the move, but that’s not how businesses operate.

Random thought: I wonder if the fact Travis Kelce plays for KC had anything to do with moving the UC game to Arrowhead Stadium?

Some quality games on tonight

Boise State @ USF
Weird 5:30 PM EST kickoff but I'm not mad at it. Lot of big talk and expectations put on Boise and to start the year across the country in the heat and humidity will surely be a tough first test.

Nebraska vs Cinci
It takes a very annoying team to have me root for the Bearcats, but here we are. It's really just Raiola I want to see lose, so hopefully he throws a game ending interception.

Miami (not FL) @ Wisconsin
I have no shame in saying I'm rooting for the RedHawks. Big fan of Dequan Finn and I think too many have forgotten how good he is (but like, MAC elite, which might be enough to still beat Wisconsin).
