College football has the longest off-season in sports.

Last year's off-season was just ridiculous.

Now that we're back to a normal-length off-season, for some reason, I'm more jacked up than ever to get this started.

I will actually enjoy watching Illinois-Nebraska. Who knows if I'd even watch that game in mid-season; but after eleventy hundred months of no football, heck yeah

Covid appears to be the heavy favorite in the SEC and Big 8/10/12/10/8 and looks to get off to a good start right after Labor Day. Huge tracts of burning land seem to be gathering interest in Vegas and could have a big impact on the Ducks and Huskies. Odds on USC and Arizona State affected too. ADs at Ohio State and Michigan scurrying to find fillers for potential canceled games. Big Ten fans preparing to fight against mask mandates in open-air stadiums. Bands may have to mute tubas, trombones, trumpets, baritones, and drum major whistles.

People aren't talking enough about how the B1G has total control over college football media from August 28th - Sep 4th.

Yes, I know Rutgers/Temple is included in that bunch, but seriously.
I'm legitimately excited for Ohio State's Thursday kickoff and MSU/Northwestern has the promise of being a good game on Friday night.

More of a rivalry than some of the other manufactured ones at least. That game can get a bit nasty
