They're awful. I live in Corn country and they really are great fans. You go out on a Saturday in the fall here and everyone is wearing Huskers gear. Very friendly, too; I've been wished "good luck" ahead of big games countless times when I'm out in Buckeye gear. The cold reality that their program will never again approach the heights they experienced up through the turn of the millennium seems to be setting in. Instead of anger on blogs, message boards and comments sections, there seems to be more silent resignation. Though, local news sources/writers have begun openly writing it's time for a change. It's such a stark contrast from the excitement when they hired him. Their ceiling now is Iowa and that's gonna take some serious work.Nebraska looks tragically bad...I mean, congrats Illinois and all, but the Huskers looked about as shitty as I can imagine. They need some serious changes.
It certainly wasn't just him, but he had some really bad moments...taking bad sacks, fumbling, missing open receivers multiple times. I watched the whole game and I was astonished at how poorly coached they are across the board. Scott Frost's goose is cooked. The only question now is which loss they fire him after. I'm not sure he makes it to December. And from this time it doesn't seem like it's Martinez fucking it all up

That wouldn't surprise me at all. That seems like the kind of game that could end up 77-0.If the Okies do what I think they're going to do to Nebraska, I'm betting Frost doesn't get on the plane back to Lincoln.

I didn't see their game today but it's shocking to me to hear Frost might be on the hot seat since he is a direct link to Tom Osbourne and because of his undeniable success at CFU. I remember the first Cornhusker drive in his first game against the Buckeyes. The scheme was Osbourne style option, they marched down the field with ease and the crowd was obviously enthralled to see that style resurrected and have success. But the first pass attempt on that drive was in the red zone and it got intercepted, lol. The Osbourne offensive scheme was not seen the rest of the game, iirc.I hear you, the Corn fans share the same sports bar as the Ohio State alumni group where I go and they are all really nice people. I wasn't there today, but I can't imagine it was pretty. But I give them credit because they show up even when the results aren't there.
They HAVE to make a coaching change and I wouldn't be against it happening now if I was a Nebraska fan. The coaching was just unbelievably bad, I think there is some talent on the team but they are just running around in circles.
Did Osbourne win his championships with 3-star recruits or 4 and 5, and now they can't get elite guys because they think they won't get to the NFL after playing in Neb?
