I just read this thread for the first time today and am emberassed at the depths to which people could sink to make themselves feel better about their own lives or to get a meaningless laugh.

Not to jump on the boat late, but most of us are happy for a friend that has found his true love...not jealous enough to want to tear him down.

i'm sure there are atleast a handful of people on this board with a few free thinking brain cells left that understand the satire of my comment...........then again, maybe not, i wouldn't be surprised.........let the floodgates of misinterpretation open

You're right of course, Mistri. I wasn't attempting humor or satire myself, just blatantly displaying my complete lack of free thinking brain cells.

A ticket taker had just gotten on to his train and as it was getting ready to pull away from the station he began asking to see passenger's tickets. The first couple he came across had the wrong train number on it. He informed them that they were on the wrong train and showed them how to get to the correct one. They thanked him and got off towards their new train. Next he came upon an elderly lady and noticed she had the same wrong ticket. He thought that was strange but pointed her in the right direction off his train. His next passenger also had the same wrong number on his ticket. That's when the ticket taker realized these people were on the right train.....he was on the wrong one.

i wasn't making fun........i could always come out and state exactly what i'm thinking, but that would be more time consuming, and what fun would that be?............my MENSA membership isn't contingent on me making these kind of statements

This is getting complicated, so let's summarize. How all of this happened is no Mistri.

1. A guy puts forth a wedding picture of his loving bride on a message board.

2. Tibor plays his 'straw' role by foolishly ridiculing the bride.

3. Other posters predictably jump on Tibor, and some post consoling words to the groom/original poster, including references to religious beliefs.

4. Mistri plays "devil's advocate" to those posting the religion-themed comments.

5. Grad tells Mistri that Tibor already dominates that area of the fishing pond.

6. Mistri responds with a post 'attempting' to explain his intented satire.

7. I join in by poking fun at his 'attempt'.

8. Mistri responds by questioning the amount of "free thinking brain cells" of many posters on the board.

9. I 'attempt' to end the impending cluster fuck gracefully, by stating that I am indeed decidedly low on free thinking brain cells.

10. Mistri gets jumped on for being a martyr.

11. Mistri responds, and the shit he's in seems to be deepening, but I'm not sure he cares.

12. Tibor is now completely out of free thinking sperm cells, because this thread has been one non-stop wet dream for him since Mistri joined in.

The preceding had been summarized for those of us, like myself, who are short on free-thinking brain cells.

Please note that I have not attempted to convey my own religious beliefs, nor have I 'attempted' to explain what Mistri's may or may not be.

3b. A very funny picture from an Indian wedding involving dollar bills, little boys, and a blinged-out pony is posted by BitB and is almost universally ignored.

3c. BitB's feelings are hurt as Tibor never seems to comment on a thread after BitB chimes in.

13. BitB proves how fragile his ego really is by writing this post.
