...And They Lived Happily Ever After
Well, after 2 1/2 years of being shacked up together, we finally made the big leap and tied the knot!!!
It was a spur of the moment deal. We got our marriage license on Jan. 9th, then on the 10th, we made a phone call to the mayor of a little "burg" here in Fayette County. She told us to be at her house in 45 minutes. Her house is about a 15 minute drive from ours.
That was about the time that CCI began to freak out. We had no clothes picked out, the girls were still asleep and he and I were both still in our Jammies!
Nevertheless, I'm happy to say, we pulled it all off...and, we pulled into the mayor's driveway at exactly 11:02 a.m. Considering that we were asked to be there at 11:00 a.m. at around 10:10 a.m., I don't think that's too shabby!!
