QB Rogers, 4 others hit portal after DeBoer exit
Will Rogers, who announced he would transfer to Washington on Dec. 15 and looked as though he would be Kalen DeBoer's replacement at quarterback for outgoing Michael Penix Jr., has instead entered the transfer portal following DeBoer's move to Alabama.

Washington quarterback Will Rogers entered his name in the transfer portal Friday night, marking the second time in the past two months he has been in the portal.
He was the fifth Washington player to enter the transfer portal Friday, joining All Pac-12 second team cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, safety Mishael Powell, linebacker Ethan Barr and tight end Tre Watson.
