Washington Commanders (official thread)

Good luck all 'Skins fans. I live in Virginia, and there are many fans here that are finally believing in their team. I'm not a Redskins fan, but I wish you guys the best, and hope that they can pull off the upset. I wouldn't really even consider it an upset, mainly because the 'Skins have been playing so well, lately. They need to play well on offense today, though. The 143 yards (or however many they had last week) will not cut it this week against a high-powered offense. Hopefully, our boy, Shawn Springs, will be the difference in this game. I think that this will be a great game. The 'Skins should play this one really close. I just think that the Seahawks playing at home will be the difference.

My prediction: Seahawks 24 - Redskins 21

I think that if the Redskins win this game, it will be because of their offense. Yes, they must stop Alexander and Hasselbeck, but they must generate some offense of their own. Washington's D is pretty solid with Lavar Arrington playing again. Remember, many quarterbacks have a tough time playing in wet weather. Brunell did play for the University of Washington, though. He's going to need to come up big for the 'Skins today, if they have any chance in winning the game.

huge grounding penalty... the skins better pick up huston so that 35+ yard fg's are a possibility. Johnston gave him a lot of excuses about the ball being wet and such, but he was 15 yards outside of his comfortable range.

josh huston's draft stock is skyrocketing after that miss, and the lack of strength in hall's leg (are there seriously no unemployed kickers that can kick the ball beyodn the 15-20 in the air?)

the announcer is right... the loss of momentum there is huge... not to mention the fact that Washington can only tie (barring a 2pt conversion, or a lot of posessesions for the skins).
