Drake was the anti-Gee. He wasn't the self-promoting glad hander, so he came off as cold and distant in comparison. There, however, was a reason that the board fully backed him in the Urban affair, gave him glowing reviews and when he left (on his own terms at the end of his contract) ended up in the most prestigious job in public (arguably all of) higher education.I won't get into specifics but Ravi has been really positively responsive to some things that are sorta nearvto my heart and I appreciate that.
