My wife tried to send me to Superwalmart again. I asked, "Why do want to do there? The meat sucks, it takes forever, and you have to hang out with people who should have their fifteen kids taken from them?"

She told me the Cafe Francais is one dollar cheaper there.....

I threw a C-note at her and told her it was worth it to me to fund her coffee at Winn-Dixie until the second coming. I lose two years of my life everytime I set foot inside one.

There is zero debate. If you need bargain bin things (gifts, supplies, etc), Target almost always has better choices, quality & cleanliness.

Out of the two, Target is the only place I shop for a 'quality bargain' item.

Most of my bargains come from Giant Eagle & sales I find online (both for the web and brick & mortar coupons).

if sams is under the walmart group i vote in favor of the waltons. i get a lot of stuff from their granted i write off the membership and a lot of the stuff i get there. target really isnt much better than walmart. both have purposes, like many of you have mentioned for young kids and stuff when they seem to outgrow stuff everyweek no reason to buy super expensive stuff (except for shoes im a big believer in putting good comfortable shoes on the feet).
