Jesus Christ people.

Mike, you need to start remodeling the inside of the house. You'll need lots of paint thinner. And a couple of those extremely hot work lights. DO NOT spill the paint thinner all over the floor. And DO NOT knock over the extremely hot work lights into the puddle of paint thinner.

EDIT: If you do accidently do the things above, get out of the house as quickly as possible. DO NOT forget your cell phone in the house.

Two words: linseed oil.

Very sorry to read that.

The judgment on my house was April 1 this year, and then the Sheriff's auction was July 12th.

Worked out "well" considering we moved to NC in January. Now, I get to see what the legal letters will do to repair my credit ratings with the three agencies.

Good luck Mike.

Linseed oil... That shit is dangerous. Almost started a fire in my garage with that shit and a rag. Smoldered for a couple of hours before I discovered it. I'll never have that shit in my house again.

Went out to visit my wife's grandparents this past July. As we're driving down the street, I see that a house has a LOT of remodeling going on. Grandpa tells me that the homeowner was having some of his wood fixtures re-finished. The contractor lays out all the rags on the ground to let them dry. The homeowner comes home, collects all the rags, puts them together in his trashcan. Self-combustion is a bitch.

Good luck Mike, I feel your pain. I just came back from going over my house in NC that I am trying to now sell. My renters neglected to tell me things that needed addressing, as well as, didn't care for the lawn. I also found my front stoop is sinking, which is causing the front door to sag. I need to get that repaired, which I hope isn't overwhelming from a cost standpoint, along with a few other items. My realtor is fighting me about listing it due to the porch. I can only hope it sells soon. If I rent it again, it will only be to someone from the base or hospital.

Not really his fault. You know the Tardis is notoriously unreliable when it comes to precise timeline synchronization.

All I know is tom baker could drive that motherfucker and has the good sense to roll with chicks in ancient jungle skivvies.... dunno anything about these newer clowns. I get the sense that don't even wear ridiculously large scarves.

I didn't feel like reading through the rest of the thread. But kudos to you since you're a Tom Baker fan.
