I know you were all thinking it...
but it sounds like (and I hope I am wrong) this is another one of those boards where you only say good things or you should be quiet or you're a troll.
No, your choice of words makes you sound embarrassing, not the fact that you disagreed. The expectation for reasoned posts and word choice is heightened in the strictly moderated recruiting forum, which is foremost a site moderated by the community.
When this kid commits to ND, you can ask our coaches themselves how they feel about losing these two, while having their two brothers on their team, and they lose them to the same team, and let's see if they are not the least bothered by it.
You didn't say they should be bothered by it, which is incredibly obvious.

You said it was an embarrassment, as though Jaylon hasn't been favoring Notre Dame from day one. It would be an embarrassment if they blew his recruitment by not returning his phone calls or insulting his mother. Instead they recruited him hard throughout the process and never caught up to his in-state school.

Your post was much more embarrassing than their recruitment of those two.

Is it wrong to call a spade a spade?

Criticism can be ok, but basing it on useless speculation where you have no knowledge of the situation at all is pretty stupid and ignorant at the same time (or trolling).

Of course you are someone who can dish it out but can't take it since you disabled rep (which is often a sign of a troll).

Oh, and I can't wait for this to be made into another thread instead of the recruiting forum. You think it's bad now....

Sorry but the only thing that is embarrassing is...

some of your guys reaction to my post. Maybe it is denial, but to me it is a little ambarrassing to the coaches and to OSU fans that their school gets rejected by these two kids under the circumstances. It is not the end of the world of course but it is humbling. Maybe you honestly don't feel that at all, but I certailny do and I have no problem admitting it.

A 17 year old kid not deciding to go to your school is not embarrassing. You on the other hand are.

Humbling?? GMAFB

Maybe you can go and cheer for TSUN. It appears as though you'll fit in just perfectly.

No offense, but you're silly if you blame a coach for how a 17 year old high school junior thinks. I certainty not saying this is the case, but hypothetically, a recruit could have major, life long issues with a sibling. Is that the coaches fault?

You don't need an "angle". You sell the kid on the school and the program...period. Just because a recruit's older brother is on the team doesn't mean the recruit should commit to the same team. Just as there are loads of instances where brothers play on the same team (the Borens, etc.) there are just as many where brothers play on different teams.

FIFY. Thanks for finding my typo too.

@ Scott...

I am not a troll and I don't even know what you are referring to by "disabling Rep"...I am a Buckeye fan and only a Buckeye fan, and I have been for 25 years.
