I also thought that in college(and high school) you are only allowed to have clear/100% transperent visors.

there was an o-lineman who played for cleveland named orlando brown a few years back who wishes he wore a visor... the facts are an eye injury can end your career in a heartbeat. and unlike a blown knee, loosing vision with one or both of your eyes will significantly impact your post football life. i would highly recomend they be worn by anyone playing the game.
