that was the same rumor as last year... and people "leaked" promo materials with the 2 cameras, i'll believe it when I see it...

Doesn't matter. I don't use the cam on my computer for skype anyway.

I use go to webinar for all my web conferenceing. Host up to 1,000 people. Easy to use. Record etc.

Not sure if anyone watches the Celebrity Apprentice. They were promoting the ACN video phone this past Sunday. I actually work for the company that sells these phones. I was just wondering if you guys thought this was going to blow up like cell phones, internet, ipods, like Donald Trump and people in the ACN community think. I really don't have anywhere that I know a bunch of people to ask this question so thought where better than here.

for business? sure, will probably be a success to some degree. for personal use? it will be a cool novelty for about 20 min then fade away. seriously, how many times have you been on the phone with someone and thought, "gee, i wish they could see me right now". sure would be a great feature when calling in "sick" to work.

anytime i think about video phones for home use i can't help but think of the commercial where the guy is breaking up with his gf telling her he needs some time alone and a blonde wearing practically nothing walks past him in the background. yeah.... so... no.. not a good idea... no.
