Video Games vs. X-Ray Machines

Zurp

I have misplaced my pants.
If I'm going to take a Playstation2 on a flight, should I pack it in my carry-on bag, or in my "stow-it-under-the-plane" bag?

I don't trust the baggage carriers. And I'm concerned that the x-ray machines might FUBAR the system. Or maybe it looks like a bomb under the x-ray machine.

Any advice?

And what about the memory cards? Do they get screwed up by any of that stuff?

I've recently taken a PS3 through an airport, because I sure as hell wasn't gonna trust it in my luggage from start to finish on the trip. It went through the X-ray machine fine...funny part was I always had to pull out my PS2s and let Security check them. On the other hand, I didn't have to have my PS3 checked at either airport I went through at Christmas.

I had to check my PS2 on the way back from Iraq, but the XRay machines didn't do anything do it.

Oddly enough I didn't have to check my laptop.
