On my way to try and likely buy the droid incredible.

Also, for those looking to insure it, state farm offers insurance for expensive phones (not all reps know this). It is about 36 a year for 560 bucks in coverage, the retail cost of the phone.

I will probably pay for one month of Verizon insurance - 6 bucks, 8 if you want 2 years which is bogus - until I can touch base with my friend at state farm.

The rep told me the bogo offer was only for the droid. He was supposed to check and text me yesterday. Just texted me that it is bogo for the incredible. :pissed:

Anyone in cbus looking to get an incredible? The text got here too late to go halfsies with Teddy, he already bought his.

Bought the incredible and this thing is outstanding. The HTC sense UI looks pretty but I'm pretty sure I'll switch to Cyanogen once the rooting tutorial is finished for the Incredible.

Bouncing between 3G and EVDO out here (15 min from 270). My buddy with an iPhone has spotty coverage at my house.

Solid not spectacular deal. The SD card is nice for most buyers since many Android apps look to the SD card for storage (the Droid doesn't have internal storage like the Incredible).

The window mount is very solid. The incredible car mount is a better quality product but I don't have a close mounting option in my car. The adjustable connector (like a snake light with a smooth surface) bounces slightly but not bad.

Ya, I had literally just paid for my phone when I got your text.

I was still in Best Buy actually. The guy working in the mobile dept. was putting one of those invisible shields on my phone. He was the one who read your text at first, ha. He said he had heard nothing about the buy 1 get 1 free deal. He even called someone and they said there was no such offer going on in NW Ohio. May just be a Columbus thing.

Awesome deal, though.....and a very sweet phone.
