Opponents notwithstanding, Tech is averaging over 55 points per game. Would love to get some local coverage of this one.

Didn't Tech knock off a Top-3 or Top-4 Texas team in 2002? 15.5 points seems like an awful lot to give TTU, and this might be Leach's best TTU team to date.
Sucks that us in Ohio won't be able to get this game ... it'll sure be alot more interesting than the Big XII title game.
You're preaching to the choir. See my explanation for my Top 25 in the BP Poll thread and I say exactly as much about TTU and why I have them ranked so low against where most others' are ranking TTU.As I felt before the OU game, what has Texas Tech done to deserve any credit this year? Although it might seem a little different b/c Tech is undefeated, they have played three crap ass teams, did okay against Kansas who scored 17 on them with one of the worst offenses in the nation, barely beat a still rebuidling Nebraska, and smacked K-State around.

I only point out that I remembered TTU beating UT in Lubbock in 2002 because it demonstrates that such an upset would not be without precedent. I'm not suggesting that 2005 TTU can even hang with 2005 UT, and this isn't made any easier with the game in Austin. It's just that TTU can give anyone fits if the ball bounces their way, and certainly more bizarre upsets have happened in CFB.
