I give up. This board is too hard to understand.
So guys... what are the plans for Valentines Day? Who is spending a fortune on Flowers? Jewelry? My wife and I are just going out to dinner (without the kids :) ) and maybe to a movie. I do have to remember to get her a card before I come home tomorrow.

Just got back from my V-Day excursion....nice girl who is also single with no expectations or drama. We figured what the hell since neither of us had a date...

Went to the beach with my "friend", had a nice oceanfront suite, drank some wine on the balcony until the sun started to get low and it got too cool...

Ate the most expensive dinner for two I have ever had...but it was worth it. I'm usually a Murrell's Inlet patron, but she saw a commercial on one of those hotel local advertising channels for a place called the Flamingo Grille and wanted to go. The place had a Miami decor going on and was pretty damn nice...

Feeling pretty good after the few hours worth of wine, I saw no problem in ordering the 16oz NY Strip with the full lobster tail or her requesting the two full lobster tails...that was with two bowls of She-Crab soup and Johnny Walker Black & water for me and Sour Apple Martinis for her....

Grand total after tip....$158

Then it was off to Crocodile Rocks at Broadway at the Beach. If you ever come to Myrtle Beach and want a great time...go to this bar. It is a dueling piano bar and the musicians put on a great show. Ended up at Club Boca dancing until 3ish.

Ate lunch at Olive Garden today...and drove home.

All in all...a very good time.

Giving her a card. Thats pretty much it, I'm going to go to dinner with her tonight. We made a mutual agreement not to get anything for each other this year, see I guess marriage isn't all that bad.

Valentines day is so over commercialized anyhow, though its not as bad as sweetest day, which I do not acknowledge.

No firm plans, but I've managed to line up a day that includes contact with a few guys who have shown interest before, so who knows. :)

If I were seeing someone right now, I'd have to fly out of town on business. Seems to be a law of nature.
