He is where I was with the Browns organization a couple of years ago. I just stopped investing the time into an NFL team and started rooting for individual players (Buckeyes) to do well.....It still pains me to watch Zeke put the Cowboys on his back though. As he goes the Cowboys and Dak go and I hate to see that franchise win.

I have since stepped off the ledge to see if with Dorsey and his draft track record (GB and KC) can he get them back into the playoffs? With the rest of the division a mess right now, these next 2-3 years, and Baker still on his rookie deal, may be the best opportunity this franchise has to make a decent run in a long, long, long time.

You just described being a bandwagoner.

I wouldn't call myself a bandwagon fan if I've been suffering through the mysery of being a Browns fan for 34 yrs. Everyone reaches their boiling point at some point, just like Valenti, who has supported the Giants through good and bad. And it wasn't just the Browns that turned me off, it was the protesting as well. So when I did watch, it was to support OSU alums, and for fantasy purchases only, not to support a particular team.

So, call me a bandwagoner if you'd like, they finally have done a few things in the front office (long before the OBJ trade) that have given Browns fans hope. I think whenever there is a change at the top, and they go with a different approach than what has not been working for 30 years, and show the fans they are at least interested in putting a competitive product on the field, I reserve the right as a fan to change how much time I invest in watching them. So thanks for your opinion.

The Giants are doing everything possible right now to lose their fan base.... just like the Browns front office has done for years.

Hey, how 'bout them Bengals? Am I right?

Mike Brown took his potential HC candidates to Denny’s and made them split the bill.

Solid personnel moves as well. Bobby Hart? Stud.

Back to the Browns. Ohio’s true professional football team who took 23 or so years off from being even remotely competitive and still have the same number of playoff wins as the Bengals during that same stretch.

I know a lot of Bengals fans that feel that way currently. They just don’t even seem to be trying. I don’t think they know that FA started and is pretty much over. They’re still gonna roll with Dalton. Not that they should have grabbed a FA QB this year but that ship sailed long ago. Took 10 years too long to fire Marvin. Everything they do is in the spirit of NOT getting better.
