2026 VA RB Savion Hiter (ttun Verbal)

They landed a top end RB talent. Hoping he is a bust but no reason to question him for taking the biggest offer. RBs are wise to take every $ as we know they have a short shelf life. With our WR / QB recruiting and development RB isn’t as big of a priority with how to split up our $ pie.

No way would I pay that to a true frosh RB. But good for them. Now time to pay Jordan Marshall $1mil to not hit the Portal next year

The issue is how does OSU stay relevant in an increasingly more expensive cfb hemisphere? I don't envy Day, Pantoni and Bjork because there are no easy answers here. Paying this kind of money is stupid too.

I think OSU is probably thinking that they can get a quality 4 star prospect, a project and a quality transfer all within that budget.

Everyone said this about Texas A&M and it was a train wreck.

Overspending on kids outta HS is a really bad investment, IMO.

I see no reason to believe that the result is going to be any different for scUM.

There's no reason to freak out about their bag throwing either way, they still are recruiting at about average Harbaugh level even with it, they aren't out here forming some super team level class. They are in the 10-15 range in player quality.

U of Miami does this every year and it never pans out, even when they stay on board, because the kids never really buy into being there other than due to it being a transactional relationship, because if it starts that way, it will stay that way.
