Utah 37, Cal 27 (final) Poinsettia Bowl

Proposed drinking game:


  • 1 drink - any time Poinsettia Bowl is mentioned. Add a second drink if they pronounce it "Poinsetta."
  • 3 drinks - any time "San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl" is uttered in its entirety. Drink 5 if they screw up the name of the bowl game, i.e. "San Diego Poinsettia Bowl" or any permutation.
  • 1 drink - any time you see actual poinsettias on screen
  • 2 drinks - any time Javid Best is mentioned in any capacity, add a third drink if "concussion" is mentioned in the same sentence.
  • 2 drinks - any time Utah beating Alabama in last season's Sugar Bowl is mentioned
  • 3 drinks - any time you see a commercial for the San Diego County Credit union and you don't live in San Diego. If you do live in San Diego, 5 drinks, because you live in San Diego and you're not freezing your asses off this winter like the rest of us.
  • 2 drinks - any references to Mountain west teams beating Pac-10 teams regularly.
  • 3 drinks - any time an ad for the Rose Bowl pops up, because damnit this game can't come sooner.
