As for the urine, yeah that happened. And some of it was not in bags or any other sort of container.

When I was there I got beer dumped on me, spat at, and pushed to the ground. Fortunately for me one of the guys I was with was a former PSU player (big) and he threw the dude into a trashcan. Made me laugh.

But yeah, PA can get that way. PSU or the Steelers.

From my experience with the Chargers games, Steelers fans are some of the worst, followed closely by the Raiders and Patroits. But the Steelers fans were just fucking hateful when I went and saw the Chargers/Steelers game.

I think you guys underestimate the number of douchebags that root for the Buckeyes. They make the rest of us look bad.
No, I am fully aware, and that sucks. But passionate people +alcohol is a formula that we all have known the answer to at some point. Collectively, I think tOSU fans get a pretty bad rap compared to what I've heard goes on at other places.

Not to mention the Youtube video of the State Penn fans throwing beers at the OSU fans.

Is that supposed to bother me? BRING IT ON! I'd gladly get drunk at their expense.

At this point they've been whupping so many asses, I'm not surprised they treated you well...the novelty has worn off

Seriously though, they could be a lot worse than Miami fans (both of them after their team has a digit in the loss column), Florida State fans (all 3 who aren't in jail), or Notre Dame fans (when they aren't busy, you know, readin' books and thinkin' thoughts and [censored] that us State schoolers could never understand) could ever be, but for the most part they seem pretty cool about it. Kudos.

The USC fans we were by for the tailgate were awesome, big props to them. There were some bad apples, I might have run into a few more than you guys because I was staying in USC student housing with a friend, so I got to deal with a few on Friday and Saturday night. But that is to be expected with any big school, especially one with as much recent success as USC.

I can only hope that Buckeye fans next year are as hospitibable as the USC fans were this year.

I'd like to add that I hope the visiting USC fans get treated with some class when they visit here, but that is anything but gauranteed. Especially considering there should be about...oh, 350,000 people around campus that day.

Is that a fair estimate? The picture they have hanging in the Varsity Club from the ND game looks like a sea of humanity, and I can't imagine it being less for USC.

I remember going to the Michigan game in 2002, and as we were walking in towards the stadium, it was, and I kid you not, a literal sea of humanity...people, as far as the eye could see, in every direction. The entire crowd moved about 1/4 step, in one direction, and if you didn't you got trampled to death. I bet there were c400-500k that day in the area, and I imagine it will be about the same.

I also gained a lot of respect for USC and their fans on this trip. The fans were almost all pleasant and seemed genuinely impressed with how many people flew across the country (or the ocean in Mili's case) for a football game. One-on-one they had only positive things to say about Ohio State. In groups they'd shout things and some of the students were a bit obnoxious, but that's to be expected really.

I loved the "big balls Pete" hand motion (I had to have that one explained to me) and they took it well when I pointed out the "V" hand sign really looks like they're saying "We're number two!"

The worst thing I heard yelled was "Ohio State Sucks ASS!" but the drunk co-ed chanting this pumped her fist so violently she lost half her top so I was cool with it. Heck, I'd have joined the chant if she asked me to.

Anyway, it was a refreshing change of pace after all the "Gator-bait" and "Tiger-bait" and "Oh-...and 9!" crap. The SEC (and sadly OSU) fans could definately take a lesson on fan behavior from our hosts at USC.

Edit:
I forgot, I also got one "Hey, Buckeye! You need to borrow a tailback?" comment. I thought of my response a minute later and waited all day for someone else to ask that, but no one did. The response? "Why? You guys trying to make the salary cap?"

Wow. Really?
I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years. Was this for Pro or College games?

I can back you on that. I went to the 2005 Penn State game. Horrible.

Camp Randall is a close second.

But, USC, they were very passive. We rented an RV and drove down from Vegas and parked smack dab in the middle of Trojan RV's. They could not have been more accommodating. They fed us after the game, just forcing food on us and not saying a word of disrespect about blowing us out.

I did hear some Hispanic decent yelling at us on the walk back from the stadium..... but it was not bad at all.

But Penn State.... forget it. I will probably never go back there again.

You were with BB73. People are reticent to talk smack to the obviously insane for fear of personal safety.

Try it again by yourself and see what happens.

This is why there isn't a new O-H-H-O photo. I couldn't raise my arms.
