Well, I expect the US to play hard once again. The Samba Kings are obviously more talented, but the US knows how play physical and take teams out of their game. US needs a point, though this tournament is more about preparing for next summer. It looks good to play these world-class teams tough, but there's also some experimentation involved.

I'm tempted to call the upset, just because.

2-1 Stars and Stripes. :)

No defense on free kicks, no defense back. The second goal was pathetic.
I'm sorry, but Beasley has shown zero lately, he's actually causing more harm than anything. He's irrelevant on offense and a liability on defense, it's time to let some other guys get his playing time. I like him, he's always been one of favorite US players, but he's gone down hill or he's not like he was before injury.
This is not what I wanted to see out of them a year out. I still think they'll qualify, I just don't want an embarassing showing in their group.

Beas should never see the field in a National Team uniform again.

And, this is the first time I've said this, but Bob Bradley needs to be fired. Pathetic that he'd come out with a 4-5-1 in an exhibition tournament. Play a normal fucking formation. Don't play this pussy lineup that the team hasn't ever played against Brazil. There's getting embarrassed by Brazil simply being better and still playing good soccer, but they are getting embarrassed playing a defensive, scared style.

This is bad. Didn't expect to say that, because these games weren't that important, but Bob Bradley is making a joke of this good opportunity.

I miss the older players from the 2002 WC in Japan. They didn't back down to anyone and weren't afraid to get in your face and get physical.

This new younger, and sleeker US team is a bunch of pussies.

I know we will never be the most skilled - but god damnit, show some guts.

Agreed - but they punched Portugal and Mexico in the nuts and hung with S. Korea at their national stadium. Guts and heart man, I loved that 2002 team.

Even the old timers like Cobi Jones came in and made "balls to the wall" type runs.
