Or he decides to have a new procedure done that he didn't want to do while coaching every year. But agreed if he doesn't have any future procedure.

My understanding is that it is now inoperable and that the only treatment is draining and medication.

I guess I'm just confused how the administration can suspend Meyer for improper conduct then promote him in the athletic director months later. Do we need any more evidence that Drake was just caving to the media?

Yeah and if Drake was ok with the hire and not pressured into it it makes it look even worse.

He's going to spend the next 4 years single handedly developing a cure for brain cysts and take over for Ryan Day in 2023 when Day leaves for the NFL after winning 4 B1G titles and 2 national titles.

Eleven Warriors is reporting that Urban will be assistant athletic director, with responsibilities for all the athletic programs. If true, he could be prepping for whenever Gene retires

there are about 30 assistant and associate athletic directors at osu. heck, pantoni and marotti are assistant athletic directors. fans and haters alike are reading the headline and assuming that urban's title means much more than it does. it will be nice to have him around the program, but he is not going to take over for gene.

I wouldn't bet against it. I always figured he'd eventually be an AD.
