(unofficial) Rose Bowl thread - USC vs. Texas (merged)

Looking at the faces at the end, especially Bush and Captain ballroom dance, I was reminded of the exchange between Yoda and Luke in Empire:

"I don't...I don't believe it!"

"That...is why you failed."

Honestly, I don't think USC thought it was mathematically possible that Texas could win. I think it's why they went for it on 4th down 2x, and why they made some dumb plays with the football (Reggie). They can join 1986 Miami and 2002 Miami as Mark May's greatest teams in the history of college football...despite not winning all their games.

get real

Yep, big Matt Whinehart will wish he could suck those stupid words back in his dumb face.
USC barely beat upstart ND, while we rolled em. They play in a shit conference. And their defense was gassed by the end of the first half. Congrats to VY for a truly one man show.

...ahhh what could have been. I truly think that the Bucks of the latter half of the season could have beaten Texas. I say this only because we developed(albeit too late) a multi dimensional game.

But you've got to be good ALL season long. Here's to next year and to watching the vid of the Fiesta for nine months!

Now let's sit back and pull for Thad and the gang.

Well,Mr. Ballroom Dance is definitely the greatest college QB ever....rumored to have boinked Alyssa Milano and for whining like an assclown after losing a title game, that is.

It was funny...every ESPN maggot has been chirping that USC is the greatest offense in college history, yet today during the game on ABC when they showed the coordinator they said he had replaced Norm Chow and that the USC offense was "one of the best this year". It's pretty bad when your hyperbole is worse than Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts, but that's ESPN for you.
