I see a change coming in our Basketball uniforms in the near future...With all of the spotlight Thad Matta is getting here in Cbus, Nike is gonna jump all over it.

well duh. the basketball jersies have changed rather significantly in the last ten yrs or so. different color schemes, but that is b-ball. hell when jj and funderburke where here, they had the silver uni's with the red shoes. football is the sacred cow. they will not have one silver sleeve, nor will any big ten school. at least, i hope not...

It looks like they ran out of material to finish the jerseys, so they just used a different color material for the arms. Terrible.

USC was approached about changing to something similar, and PC refused. Thank God.

That whole one arm thing looks stupid. Va Tech jersey's last nite looked like ass, along with those Miami jerseys. If I was a fan of one of those teams I would be having a fit.

They mentioned during the Penn St./Purdue game that the last time Penn State had a change to their uniforms was 1974, when they took off the number that had been on one side of their helmets. So they've been generic for over 30 years.

Can't say I'm 100% sure of this, but PSU's uniforms are the product of JoPa's coaching philosophy. No helmet stickers, no names on the uniforms, nothing to distinguish yourself as an individual, as the emphasis is on the team...pretty much in direct opposition to our players' uniforms.

I do want to see OSU and USC go back to some form of throwback uniforms for when we play in 2008-9 (that right?) - the classic three big buckeye leaves on everyone's helmets.

Holy shit those are the dumbest looking uni's I've ever seen. The diamond tread-plate pattern is ridiculous. I know Phil Knight has some deep ass pockets and all, but why does Oregon let Nike do this to them?
