The wings are real tacky, but I like the all green ones and the white/green ones. The yellow ones I never got.

Why cant universities get simple is better? My favorite uni's:
Penn St
Ohio St
Bama
USC
Miami (2000-2002)
Oklahoma

What do all those uni's have in common? They were simple!

They also have great tradition and recruiting bases. Oregon's uniforms are big with recruits. They'd be stupid to go with a more simple look.

The helmets are unique. A pattern instead of a solid color.

Well I wasnt really calling out Oregon solely, but rather all the schools that overdo it. Like Miami since 2002 there uniforms have gone to shit.

Also do recruits really go to Oregon because of the uni's? I dont think it's a deciding factor for most, but maybe you know something I dont.

There are other schools with great tradition that overdo their uniforms.

I'd go to Oregon because of Autzen, their killer facilities, nice college town, and winning program. They'd probably make my Top 5 if I was a recruit and none of the reasons would be the uni but thats just me

in my opinion the uniforms would look much better if they would get rid of whatever they decide to put on the shoulder, first it was the incredibly stupid looking diamond plate, now it is wings (??), that ruins the design for me, otherwise it looks pretty good

another thing I just noticed, do their helmets say go hard/go oregon/go ducks on them? I would also classify that under stupid

"gee, I just don't feel like playing football today, I could really use something to raise my spirits... oh look, my helmet says go hard go oregon go ducks on it! now I'm ready to play!!"

Sacre bleu! I theenk zay should steeck wit ze monochromatic/metrosexual look (luke), maybe zay poot zee pleats in ze black and gray pants, especiall zee beeg linemen. Le font sur le chapeaux d'football eezz magnificat, sosch est zimple way to says, "I know fashion." Perhaps a beet more puff in ze sleeves would be cute, perhaps coot zee collair a beet deeper pour la max cleavage ond zhen L'coup d'main: Italian dancing pumps replacemant le shoes clunky, avec a rhinestone accent on l'wings, oh ahnd a zeemple strand of pearls... Perfeect! l' ensemble ist tres chic, non?... what to say? Ques que? Ah, oui, ducky, jooust ducky, beaucoup duckie.

Of course not but they make Oregon more relevant nationally. They help get their foot in the door of prospects.
