jwinslow;857680; said:This time they didn't just make an ugly design, but they called their players sexuality into question with almost a sports bra (or "bro") across the chest.

In othe words I would never see a Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Oklahoma etc ever doing major changes like this. Yes strips may change etc, but never will see any of these crazy designs.
Uni's change at tOSU.. it wasn't 40+ years.. the ones we have now were used during Chris Carters era which was not 40 years ago.. and there are minor changes year to year it seems.. number size, silver fleck, materials, etc. Not knocking but i'm kind of tired of people bitching about colors and tradition when most the people doing so don't know the half (not talking about anyone on this board)Zurp;858504; said:Just out of curiosity, when do you consider Ohio State's "history" in college football to have begun? If I'm remembering my history (and, if you've read the buckeye leaves thread the past few days, we can all agree that I'm NOT), Ohio State changed their uniforms less than 40 years ago. 40 years is a long time to some programs, but not compared to the 100+ years of Ohio State football. Of course, maybe 40 years with one uniform style is a pretty good set of roots in that tradition.
So I don't know. I'd like to believe that Ohio State will keep the same basic uniform forever. But you never know for sure.
