Underrated guitar players

I was listening to Dire Straits first album today and wondered if there had been a Mark Knopfler sighting in this thread previously. Didn't check the previous pages.

Since these guys haven't been mentioned here yet, they qualify as highly underrated:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zw8Y_NHVGs"]Johnny Hiland[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CXfTwy6N-k&feature=related"]John McLaughlin[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoIJ4W7kXiQ"]Django Reinhardt[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eql_S0w6k0o&feature=relmfu"]Andres Segovia[/ame]

Saved the best for last. Young people who have never heard Segovia are tremendously deprived. I saw him play at age 90, and even then he made the instrument come alive as no one else I ever heard play.

I love EVH, Clapton, Stevie Ray, Knopfler et al, but they none of them have the artistry that Segovia had. Magnificent.

Django Reinhardt was the man
