I"m sure people would care if East Columbus residents were similarly mistreated by police.

I am sure the delapidated property and shitty schools will take care of the East side. Call it Darwinism if you will.

When you have the university paper sticking up for drunken idiots, no wonder this university has the reputation it has.

I only went to Ohio State so I have no comparison of other school papers. I rarely read the thing because it seemed like a bunch of dumb kids writing about how life isn't fair - as appears to be the case here. On a side note, I wonder what that dipshit David Fong is up to - our beloved sports beat writer for the Lantern during my school days.

I am glad someone else remembered David. I saw him out at BW3's one night and he was three sheets to the wind.

Wonder if you would be singing the same tune if you had been strip searched for rolling through a stop sign. The punishment did not fit the crime. Those "officers" went too far. Fucking ridiculous.

I don't disagree that if you break the law you should expect some consequences, but the fact is oftentimes the CPD plays that "music" a little too hard when they get a chance to arrest young people on campus.

And you are sure of this because of what? The arrested people who never seem to have done anything wrong, or the always reliable media (who never distorts the facts)

I don't work for CPD, so I can't speak for their officers...but then again, neither do any of the people criticizing them.
