I don't have a clue.

I'm going to go watch the second half of the W.T. Sherman doc on History.

I want to see the south burn.

That last part was for you, Gator. No reason imparticular.

Fast forward until you reach the part about his entry into South Carolina and the burning of Columbia after its peaceful surrender.

That's his best work, burnin' wise.

Yeah, that is my favorite part too. I'm also partial to the part where he did far less damage on his way through NC as to make it clear that SC was a special kind of payback.

It sent a message as old as humanity..."don't start no shit...won't be no shit".

GSP V Anderson Silva anyone?

Please please let that happen.

It's interesting you say this, there's been talk that GSP would like this fight, but Anderson Silva has the last 5 fights of his career already slated for contenders and a 205er, and has made it very clear he doesn't plan on fighting in 2010.

Does Dana give GSP a title match against Anderson? I don't think so, I think the UFC wants Anderson Silva to go out on top to rival the reputation that Fedor has, but we'll see. This fight took both fighters saying "We want this fight" at a UFC event to make happen, I don't think you'll get that since Silva doesn't speak english.

Did GSP's corner cheat to give him an edge?

After a dominating victory over B.J. Penn at UFC 94, Georges St. Pierre is clearly the better fighter. GSP left no doubt. And yet now there is, thanks to one of his cornermen, Phil Nurse. It's pretty clear by watching the video that Nurse had some Vaseline on his hands when he rubbed St. Pierre's shoulders, back and chest between the first and second rounds.

Why is that a big deal in mixed martial arts? It's significant because of all the grappling and maneuvering that takes place on the ground. St. Pierre was on top of Penn in the second round and the Hawaiian tried several times to shift his legs up to work for a triangle choke or an armbar. Grip and some friction is huge in these cases and a slippery fighter would make it more difficult to lock on one of those holds. Above you can see, Nurse apply Vaseline to GSP's face, then get more Vaseline, then rub his shoulders, arms and back.

You can't trust a motherfucking French Canadian. :shake:
