UConn recruiting violations and APR issues

Does this ban include preseason tourneys, where they play 2 to 3 games?

How about long weekends in San Diego, Miami, Dallas with a primetime game on an NBA floor?

Either they get their act together or they don't, and from their conduct so far, I'd bet they won't.

Banning them from playing in long distance, class interrupting regular season games seems both petty and rather hard to enforce.
you left this portion off of my post:shake:
I guess I would go a little further then just a NCAA tournament ban but that's just my opinion. That's all from me about this subject.

CBSSports Report: Jim Calhoun to retire

One of the most legendary coaches in college basketball history is set to retire, according to a report by Connecticut's NBC 30. The station broke the news Wednesday night that 70-year-old Jim Calhoun is leaving his post with UConn. Calhoun injured his hip while riding a bike in early August and has recently publicly put his commitment to continue coaching into question.

Calhoun told NBC Connecticut's Kevin Nathan Wednesday that nothing official has been finalized.

"Don't be surprised by anything, even this week," Calhoun said.

It is a matter of Calhoun and his agent "dotting the 'i's' and crossing the 't's'," according to the source.

A second source said Calhoun wants to meet with his players in person before any announcement is made.

Con't...
