UCLA Bruins (official thread)

This seems like a dumb question, and just for the sake of convo. Is UCLA now a team, under new coaches that OSU has to worry about a little bit? I want to see how their season plays out.
1998 - Ohio State lost to Mich State.
2009 - Ohio State lost to Purdue.
2014 - Ohio State lost to Virginia Tech.
2017 - Ohio State lost to Iowa.
2018 - Ohio State lost to Purdue.
I could go on...
My point is that Ohio State should worry about every team a little bit. Not that previous coaches didn't worry about them a little bit, but if you don't worry a little bit, we could have more to add to this list.

Any of the west coast teams will have an advantage when playing at home, especially at night. That said, I don't think UCLA is quite in a position to rise to a top tier B1G football school anytime soon. They had a decent run around 25 years ago, but they will always be second fiddle to USC in SOCAL.

this fanbase sometimes...
UCLA may have had a slight reset with the new coaches at the helm, and PSU though national championship fraudulent, does have a clear talent edge. Scoring that many points on Knowles is not easy. So, it does bring a raise of the eyebrow.

I didn't say UCLA is a serious threat to OSU, however, clearly they now can do some things.

I am actually curious to see how they do against MD.

It is not as though OSU has not had weird let down games in the past. You can name them, but they exist.
