Lots to work on with the D...what really was frustrating was the 3rd down breakdown after Adolphus shut them down. Not the same defense of days old...they flash, but no consistency.

This. That said, Vrabel and Coombs are both learning on the fly. It's not just the players who are inexperienced. Vrabel and Coombs are both good motivators, they just need more experience coaching at the D1 level to truly become the elite coaches we are used to.

What do you think the cause of the inconsistency is? I thought the increased aggressiveness was from Fickle.

meh I'd say its a whole defensive issue right now. Not good so far. The offense has by far outplayed the defense this year.

But maybe we just built this defense up too much.
