That guy up north hasn't been healthy at the end of any of his seasons in AA. Pryor got banged up - and they were not running him by design that much as the season progressed. Even that magnificent Tebow body got beat up. It's a tricky deal for the coaching staff to decide how much to let Braxton run the ball.
On 3rd/4th and short it's going to be hard to not give the ball to one of those 230 pound backs - or at least run an option where defenses can't just key on Braxton and tee off on him.

I did see what our UCF fan was talking about with G O'Leary. I'm not seeing a guy who inspires confidence - which may be why they lost a bunch of games by less than 7. I'd describe him as Jim Bollman plus as far as offense.
ucfknight;2180967; said:I was at the big student bar for that game. When we tied it up everyone was pumped. We thought it was going to overtime, as we were only down 7 before the TD. BTW the id who caught that was JJ Worton the WR i've been talking up. He was only a freshman and made that great catch. I digress. Anyways the decision to for for 2 still haunts UCF fans. There was no need for it and that play call was so stupid. Instead of spreading Southern Miss out, he called for the TE to run a curl into double coverage. He does not inspire confidence and he also was the reason why UCF had to self impose sanctions for his recruiting violations. Needless to say he is on the hot seat.
QB is an issue. Like you said its very up and down. That is a concern for me as none of our Qb's have played in a place like OSU. Bipolar QB play is not what we need going into OSU. IDK who lives in that area, but UCF play Akron a week before OSU, so you can watch on tv/whatever.
Mrstickball;2181640; said:UCF plays two teams from Ohio on the road, back to back? Color me surprised.
Make no mistake: Akron sucks. If you can't put 30 on them, you'll be in deep trouble against OSU.
The National National Collegiate Athletic Association Committee on Infractions is scheduled to hold a teleconference Tuesday morning during which it will disclose its ruling regarding UCF?s major recruiting violations within the football and men?s basketball programs.
The NCAA released a 16-page report in November that detailed UCF?s violations, including involvement with Ken Caldwell and Brandon Bender who, according to the report, "assisted the institution in the recruitment of six men's basketball and five football prospective student-athletes."
The university completed an investigation with the NCAA?s review following the release of the report and consequently imposed several sanctions on the athletic program.
The committee may accept the school?s self-imposed penalties or increase the amount of sanctions as it sees appropriate.
