play like - They have something to prove - so they just play lights out hoping
for a shocker or a huge upset in the world of college football.
And for 4 games we had to witness this over and over, and yet coming out with a win. I have seen this scenario play out time and time again. So maybe it's time for the team to get away from the home town enviornment and play in a hostile one for a change and to find out who (OhioState) they really are.
You certainly can see the frustrations on the faces of the coaches and so many players. I lost count of how many times those guys on defense were
trying to strip the ball instead of putting them on thier butts. Maybe they
are over-playing at times and even playing over thier heads, causing so
many mental mistakes.
Now they will have a good weekend to prepare for "Sparty" and they better be prepared real good cause you know Mich-State will be in a very pissed of manner themselves. It should be one hell of a ballgame to watch.

I always get the feeling that we're not seeing everything being thrown onto the field every game. Maybe I'm a homer in thinking there's so much more there, but given the level of competition, I wonder if some of the playbook is being kept back.
COLUMBUS -- Urban Meyer did not return to the sidelines to write off two-touchdown victories.
The coach kept up appearances after Ohio State's 29-15 victory over winless Alabama-Birmingham. He clapped and smiled after singing the final notes of the alma mater in the south end zone, belted the fight song with his team in the locker room, and told players to enjoy the rest of their Saturday.
"I'm loving coaching this team," Meyer said
"You're always happy to win a Division I football game," said left tackle Jack Mewhort, a St. John's Jesuit graduate. "We're very pleased about that. But on the other hand, we know we have a lot of improving to do. There's no doubt about that."

The Big 10 is truly awful.
OSU, UM, UW, MSU all are supposed to be the top, tough teams in the conference and all look Charmin soft as hell.
Looking at the schedule and how the teams are playing, I'm scared to death of Purdue and Nebraska. Every other team is at least at OSU's level as far as inconsistency and poor play.
