This has been like watching somebody play against Stoke. Cuba just sits back and plays the most cynical brand of football imaginable until they get a chance at the odd sucker punch. The only thing they are missing is fucking Rory Delap.

edit: That was an excellent finish by Corona, but it was terribly build-up play that was representative of the US's overall performance. They have been pretty much out of ideas when they have gotten near the penalty area.

Correct decision in my IMO, but I'm surprised that wasn't a penalty for Cuba anyway.

I feel bad for Gomez. I think Wynalda has been too harsh on his performance. It's true that he didn't look like a threat out there, but he was getting mugged and there was pretty much no service to speak of. We'll see, but I doubt Wondolowski does much better in these circumstances.
