Just got word that the US qualifier with Guatemala will be in Kansas City..so I get to see the squad live in a few months..SAHWEET!

At a BEAUTIFUL stadium, nonetheless. I must say, I'm jealous.

Assuming it IS at Livestrong Park. IMO, Livestrong or BBVA Compass (Houston) should be the US's "home" complex. Both amazing stadiums and really setting the bar for other MLS clubs.

Looks like they're playing in a monsoon tonight. Props to those fans who are braving through the endless rain.

Still remember when Jurgen Klinsmann took names off the back of the jerseys and gave the starters 1-11, when he first took over.

That ended when U.S. Soccer/Nike had to start selling the new jerseys

I think this team is trying to be too cute by half so far, especially given the field conditions. I submit as evidence, they play where Gomez was called offside. Nevermind for a moment that he appeared in the replay to actually be onside. The real problem with that play was that he passed the ball to a marked teammate instead of firing it on goal from point-blank range. That encapsulates the team's play to this point in my opinion.
