The announcer was annoying - every corner won he made it seem like he had just seen a double rainbow.

Speaking of announcers, I noticed that FX while broadcasting the UFC on Friday was playing the FOX "NFL" music much like FOX does for the Barclays Premier League.

So I'm assuming it all goes to branding and FOX will be playing that damn NFL theme song for the World Cup (Women's WC starting in 2015).

Just a Pet Peeve of mine (FOX using NFL music for other sports). Can't wait for Sunday's EPL game where FOX will probably be using Piers Morgan to break down soccer again :(

I agree with Ian Darke and Steve McManaman this morning when they said that Zak Whitbread should get a very strong look in the central defense. At least a run out.

Zak confused me in the post match interview though, he sounds like he has a british accent. He played very well however.

I hope Tim Ream gets that transfer to Bolton. He is our most composed defender on the ball, but needs more experience in high pressure situations. I'd say the EPL is the absolute best place for that.

Why not use the music that's used on FSC for the Premiership?

Or, they could talk to John Tesh and dust off this bad boy:

Well deserved 1-0 result and some beautiful footie played by the Americans. Faster decisions in attack mixed with great runs.

Didn't think we'd get one by the Venezuelan keeper for a while. Glad Rico's made a return to form lately, too.
