U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

Shocking 2 hours. That was…something. Some people may get their wish come Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Still not sure my views but not pleased with the direction.
Its displeasing.

Now personally I imagine Weah is going to tell Conmebol about homophobic slurs. (I would!)

Someone is going to have to explain to me how we had to burn a sub on the keeper but no yellow card. That said for years at every level I have been frustrated with the level of intent vs reckless (specifically out of control) play in handing out cards.

Anyway, here we are.

Yeah what was up with no card there? The Panama player clearly had no shot at that and has his arms up in the air like he was Denzel Burke on a fly route!

US wins the match comfortably if Weah doesn’t fuck the team over 18’ in. Gotta beat Uruguay now. On a selfish note I’m glad I didn’t leave work early and spend $200 to go to that shit show.

Ref sucks. Weah dumb. Here we are

From The Bleacher report website:

The USMNT hurt itself early on after Tim Weah picked up a red card in just the 18th minute. Playing with just 10 men on the field for most of the match made defeating Panama an entirely different task.

Two questionable decisions from the officials in the first half didn't help the United States' cause:

US still wins with Weah getting tossed if they remember they’re playing a concacaf team in a conmebol tourny …. you should EXPECT shithousery. Weah will get the blame for this loss but the team lost composure again… we can’t string together two good games in a row… but this is the same ole USMNT under this regime…. nothings gonna change unless the regime is changed sorry but Gregggg has shown what he is

I'm 100% with you on that front, we need new leadership. Can't squander a World Cup on home soil, it'll be another 20/30 years before another one rolls around.

I mean, we're kinda squandering a Copa America on home soil

FIFA is all about money, so I wouldn't doubt that FIFA goes back to the United States sooner if the bribe money matches up.
