Semi-serious question; are people scared because of the deadly stadium riot a few weeks ago? Or (less seriously) do they know they can't get away with their usual shit with increased scrutiny so don't feel like coming out?

There's fear for sure going on down there right now. My neighbor here in Phoenix says that there's fear about riots, Covid (still) and the U.S. team altogether. Newspapers and tv spots are talking about the team being an underdog to the U.S. and a huge talent gap which is a first in our histories but they are feeling it. Their economy sucks too so combination of everything leading to empty seats I'd figure.
