I was more referring to the poor service into the area up until that point. There’s few things more infuriating in this game than consistent poor or scoffed crosses, especially with ample recipients. Essentially what Dani Alves devolved into later in his career.

I got you but what you call poor service is tactics here. This won't be a primary back post cross team unless it's there. No knock on Boyd, it was his first match but they're going to look to play it across much sooner than say against Venezuela. It's all good and I understand your point but the plan here is to get it in even, or like that first goal with different runners. I don't love it honestly but it can pressure people.

As long as it doesn’t involve DeAndre Yedlin’s inability to lift a soccer ball above shin height then consider me all aboard.
