U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

Beckerman has done a lot for our guys, it's time to send him off with dignity. Wondo, on the other hand...
I get that, but it's time to hang up the international boots. There's young bucks ready and waiting for their opportunity.

Also, why is Zardes (a striker) constantly getting starts at RM? Ethan Finlay had the ability to cross the ball (something Zardes doesn't have), and has a bit more pace. This would also allow Zardes to play up front with Dempsey just behind him.

Oh I'm agreeing with you, it's time to send him off, just by acknowledging all he has done (not just dumped like LD). I don't think JK has any idea how to use what he has...guys are out of position all the time. Every lineup, I scratch my head somewhere

LD got a bit of a raw deal, but I think the public outcry made that situation worse than what it should have been.

I actually forgot about Beckham, I saw some damn good ones from him. I honestly don't think Robben is as good. Ronaldo I didn't either but I saw most of him on the downside.
Robben just has ridiculous curve on his FK's. In his prime, he was as good as anyone. Ronaldo was more of a power FK taker. I think playing alongside Roberto Carlos overshadowed his FK abilities a bit.
