U.S. Army All-American Bowl (Sat 1/7 @ 1pET on NBC)

Very successful game for the Buckeyes I would say.

Young should've been MVP

Wanted to point out that imo Akers looked like the best back in the game today, and Swift runner up in my eyes Harris will be good I believe but it just seemed he would get tackled before he could gain momentum, so without being able to see Dobbins in this setting I would have to say it looks like the best back in the country was nabbed by Fla St. Kid's explosive!

The Army game is always so much more fun to watch than the Under Armour game. I always enjoy watching this game.

Chase Young will be gone in 3 years.

There's no doubt about it, he was impressive today. These kind of games have to be frustrating for coaches in that they have to get everyone on the sidelines reps... I'm sure that he'd not come off the field when on D otherwise.

Disruptive. That's just about the highest compliment you can pay a kid in that position. And it fits in this case.

I was born under Woody. I came of age under Earl. I was in school for Coop. I enjoyed JT's success. I've never, in my life experienced anything like Urban. I'm not one who prays often, but when I do, I pray that Urban stays another year.

I know a lot of people on here feel the same way but this is the best AA game out there for sure, always have fun watching it every year. Chase Young was a force out there and he is going to thrive under LJ Sr. We have Lewis, Hubbard, Bosa, Cooper, etc. coming back next year, but Chase could still be good enough to log some PT next year. I always felt Chase was a special player but I may have still not appreciated how much talent he has...I can see why we are fine with just him in this class. Need to go back to watch Davis/Myers, did not watch the OL that much. Akers looked really good...I imagine that Dobbins would have had a great day too if he was out there but Akers is one guy I would have loved to have as a want rather than a necessity. Already said it but Tate was really fun to watch, so quick with the ball in his hands...I would be shocked if he is not an absolute stud here in our system.

Rivals article here lists the top performers, which includes Young, Martell, Davis and Tufele.

I'm not sure if you have Twitter, but Tony Gerdeman from the Ozone has a lot of clips on his Twitter page focusing strictly on Davis/Myers during the game. They both had dominant moments. Both had some bad moments too.

Also great not having Tom Lemming on the telecast.

I wouldn't use this game as an indication of the best RB. Especially with Harris running behind some of the best O lineman in the country every year. Harris will follow the line of RBs that Saban seems to produce every Year and have success in their system. Harris will fit Bama to a T, and an all star game is hard to sinuate what he'll do in their offense.
