Tyrod Taylor (QB Buffalo Bills)

I've been told that Taylor's family is completely on board for this move. Depsite what ESPN may say, there is no controversy. The real thing to think about is how this impacts Newsome's decision (along the lines of what matcar said in his thread).

That is unprecedented.

Tyrod must have some serious faith in his coach.

VT fans really respect Tyrod's character - he gets good grades, has a good attitude, etc. My VT buddy calls him the "anti-Vick" (either one). I think he and his family also see the benefit of 3 starting years.

Beamer reverses course, brings Taylor back for Hokies

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor won't redshirt as originally planned, and will share quarterback duties with Sean Glennon, Hokies coach Frank Beamer announced Tuesday.

Virginia Tech lost its season opener against East Carolina last week.

Last week, Beamer announced that Taylor, who is a sophomore, would sit out the season.

Contd....

Idiotic...they've already blown the season. Why bring him back now?

I feel for Tyrod, as this season has been wasted with a loss to ECU already. He seemed to want the redshirt year so he could have 2 years by himself.
