Tyjon Lindsey (WR Nebraska Cornhuskers, transfer to Oregon St.)

Could be any number of reasons:

Could be a staff decision
Could be that he's had a change of heart
Could be an academic/credits thing? He moved around a bunch in HS between LA and NV

Moving fwd: Does it change anything with Lynn Bowden and/or Danny Davis? The EGW and BW to #zone6 rumors make more sense now.

Will be interesting to hear the various site insiders takes on what happening with this news

Did not see this one coming, trying to dig into it more. Timing is curious to say the least.

Wow... Just wow... Tate is holding fast so maybe it's a mutual decision between the staff and the kid. After seeing the video of him at their camp there's no way I'd believe it but...I guess.

This seems to me that OSU said we don't have room... Lindsey was all in and now he's not? Id imagine too many people stayed that weren't supposed to stay and now we have this...

It sucks... I was looking forward to him.

But that's hard to understand because we still are continuing to pursue 3-4 other spots according to just about every insider an each Buckeye site. And he seems like a perfect fit for Wilson's system as well.

Also I didn't realize how small he really was... maybe we have decided to accept the pledge of Harris who's 6'5 and have decided to start recruiting some bigger kids.

There's no way a kid committed this long into the game just had a change of hearts even though his buddies were going to osu. No doubt in my mind OSU just doesn't have the space.

We've known Tyjon height and weight the entire time we recruited him and prioritized him above Jaylen Harris the entire time. Now that DPJ passed on us and Noah left, we have the room for Jaylen. And look at what tiny tiny Shane Wynn did in Kevin Wilson's system. Can't imagine he wasn't psyched to have a talent like Tyjon to work with.

So if this decision was made on the Ohio State end, I respectfully disagree and think it was something other than room or other WR's being preferred, especially this late in the game. If it was Tyjons decision(remember, he's gone back and forth between California and Las Vegas multiple times in HS), there could be any number of reason he chose to do this. And if it was his decision, perhaps there is still time for Urban, Wilson, and Tate to bring him back in the fold.

You, and I, have no clue why he decommitted. Like already mentioned, there are numerous plausible reasons besides not having room.
