2026 TX OL Felix Ojo (Texas Tech Verbal)

Ohio State to host 2026 DL

2026 four-star offensive tackle, Felix Ojo (Mansfield, TX / Lake Ridge) spoke with Bucknuts on Monday, and it was reported that he plans to use an official visit with the Buckeyes during next year’s official visit season.

While Ojo has a lot of time left in his recruitment, he already has a solid relationship formed with the Buckeyes. Ojo visited Columbus earlier this summer for a summer camp, and he left the weekend with an official scholarship offer from them. The fact that he is already planning on using an official visit with Ohio State is a good sign for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State is not alone in its pursuit of Ojo, and he is being courted by the likes of Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, Duke, Florida State, USC, Oregon, Penn State, etc.

Really hoping Bowen can develop a relationship quickly, but the staff that didn't leave after the Natty seem to have built a really good relationship over time with Felix. But if we are in his top 2, maybe Bowen can help push us over the top and somehow win this one. Going to be tough to beat out Tejas here though.

Some intel on Texas-based OL targets from the Texas site:

Felix Ojo:

I believe Texas is in a great spot here. The Longhorns have made him feel like a top priority in their left tackle development pipeline, and his parents desire for him to stay close to home so that they and his younger siblings can see him play only strengthens their chances. With competition from Ohio State, Michigan, OU, Notre Dame, and Florida, Texas will need to continue making him feel like the guy, but I think they’re in an excellent position.
Interestingly, on Ojo, there might be some intrigue with the OL board with Texas. Texas is in on Ojo, 5* OT John Turntine, and 5* Oregon commit Kodi Greene. Turntine feels like a Texas lock, so we should be rooting hard for Texas to flip Greene from Oregon. It's unlikely that Ojo joins a class with both Turntine and Greene in it, and on top of that, Texas might not be willing to pay for three 5* OTs in one class - they don't come cheap.
