Re: The Ohio State offer marks Jordan’s third offer to go along with Baylor and Washington State.

On first glance, the Buckeyes’ competition for Jordan would lead you to believe that the team will instantly jump into the driver’s seat for his recruitment, but the young DB will watch his offer list grow in the coming seasons. This is exactly why Day and the Buckeyes are getting in early in his recruitment. Getting a head start in the process will give the team a leg up against future competition as well.

Also, it sounds like there’s some questions on if he did in fact try to commit, and whether or not Ohio State would be willing to take a commitment from him at this point.
Why wouldn't OSU want him to commit? He's arguably the highest ranked CB left on our board that's uncommitted.
I guess to maybe see in person.

More than likely it’s a combination of wanting to see him in person as well as having a few other guys ahead of him. They’re probably only taking one more CB in the class. Ellis mentioned Pride and Turner as both very high on their list.
