2025 TX CB Dorian Brew (Verbal Offer)

The three most important Ohio State football upcoming recruiting visits

The Ohio State football program has some important visits coming up from some great recruits. These are the three most important ones.

3. Dorian Brew

Ohio State already has commitments from some of the best cornerbacks in the country for the 2025 class. They already have commitments from Devin Sanchez and Na'eem Offord, who are the top two players at that position. Adding anyone else would just be gravy.

That's exactly what the Buckeyes are hoping to do. They are hoping to add Dorian Brew, who is another five-star cornerback. He is visiting the Buckeyes on June 21st, so they have a chance to solidify a commitment from him at that time. that would give Ohio State three of the top four corners in this class.

Brew is projected to commit to Ohio State, so this would be a chance for them to close the door on that. It would give the Buckeyes one of the best secondary classes in history. A lot can still change between now and Signing Day of course, but that would be great.

Brew can play corner or safety right? That let's him move all over the field and ball-hawk or blitz in Knowles' packages which makes him a jewel for this DB haul. Bling bling baby!
He is very versatile and well suited for Knowles defense. I think we can use him exactly like you said. Woodby I really want to hang onto and I really like as a true slot corner, but then I recalled we have a 6'1 195 nickel corner in Jordan Hancock. I think Brew is morphing more into a safety, but I could see him in that nickel role as well. But really just get him here and Knowles will figure it out, too talented to miss on and is an OSU legacy recruit essentially.

I would agree with that thought process, however I don't think we lead for Brew coming down the home stretch. Which is concerning to say the least. Not saying we can't close the deal, just think this is going to be a tough pull.
I am about as confident as I can be that Brew will be a Buckeye commit sometime in the next 4-6 weeks. I know recruiting can be finnicky and subject to change, but I'm not concerned here.

You do have those Dayton connects, as I remember a certain Dayton CB from '24 that you never wavered on and committed to the Buckeyes on a parents birthday.

Yep, and I stand by this one the same here. I get the cause for concern from the outside looking in, but from the inside looking in..don't want to steal a recruit's thunder, so I'll leave it that we have a very good position here. He's doing his due diligence as one should.

These kids will probably be making the hardest decision of their young lives to this point. If it were me (and certainly was not), I would go on recruiting trips to USC (song girls and sand), Colorado (skiing), New Orleans (food and jazz), UMass (lobster and crab), Texas (NIL), and one more, and then sign with tOSU. NIL has added another dynamic to the process, and who amongst us would not be overjoyed to get a 'payment' package that would make more money by playing a game than our parents are making? Go Bucks!
